About Me
I’m a product designer with 10+ years of experience — 8 of them at HCL Software, working on enterprise and collaboration products at scale.
At HCL I led the modernization of HCL Notes, a 30-year-old platform used by organizations in government, financial services, healthcare and manufacturing, across two major releases. The work meant correcting long-standing usability and accessibility problems inside constraints that ruled out changing layout, changing component sizes, or using our own design system.
I also work on Sametime Mobile across iOS, Android, Apple Watch and Wear OS — navigation redesigns, platform alignment, and accessibility improvements.
I act as the cross-product design contact across several HCL products, and mentor junior designers working on complex legacy systems.
I specialize in navigating legacy constraints, aligning design intent with technical reality, and making deliberate product decisions that balance user needs, system complexity, and long-term maintainability.
Outside work
I travel when I can, and photograph what I find. Mostly places I haven’t been before.
